Citizen scientists unite! 😎

ODNR is looking for citizen scientists to report their animal, insect and plant observations during the solar eclipse on April 8. To participate, download the free iNaturalist app and join the Ohio Wildlife Observation: Solar Eclipse 2024 project on the app. You can help ODNR document wildlife patterns and contribute to important research. For more information on the project and the total solar eclipse, click link in bio.

Looking for another way to get involved? The Eclipse Soundscapes Project is a NASA citizen science project that studies how eclipses affect life on Earth during the solar eclipse. Some of our ohstateparks are conducting NASA projects – find events at link in bio.
